Salon chairs empty this next 2 weeks? Here's a tip...

This week many salons are finding bookings have taken a dip.  It often happens.  Clients are holding out to get their hair done for Christmas.

So what can you do?  Don't leave those chairs sitting there empty.  Instead,  put on an offer that people cannot say no to.  Best one is for cuts as the costs attached are lower.  Slash at least 50% off........don't leave your stylists sitting there chatting to each other.  Get them to get serious about bringing in more money in this next 2 weeks which are typically quiet.

Before you do that,  make double sure that your salon is dressed to impress.  Coffee a plenty?  Salon clean?  Fingertips ready for the lovely scalp massage that will leave them talking to their friends?  Staff dresses to impress with a big smile and open heart?

As the clients leave,  remember to always, always as them to rebook.  Retail too if you can.  Give them a business card.  All of these things will keep them coming back and paying the price list price.

I'm not a fan of discounting at all.  But get those in who are not going to spend until another 3 weeks time to make their cut last past christmas.

Get the staff onboard and working.

If your discounts work out to be £17.50 per cut (for example) and you can attract another 20 clients this week,  you will generate £350 in extra sales.
How many tubes of tint will that buy for your stock?

Don't struggle this November.  Get busy.  Impress the passers by who are bargain hunting......just an idea?
